Why pay $20 more for a pair of jeans that have been embroidered when you can easily do the work on your own? You can even get the exact pair of jeans you want with the right embroidery on it. These days it is hard enough to get a good pair of jeans that fit you well. You shouldn’t have to settle for a look that isn’t right for you due to what embroidery you do like not being readily available for your great fitting jeans.
Even if you don’t know much about sewing you can easily create great looking designs on jeans. You can even add them to your old favorites so they will be in fashion. This is a great way to upgrade your wardrobe without spending very much money at all in the process. You will find all the supplies you need to complete the work either online or from your local hobby shop.
There are plenty of great embroidery patterns for jeans that you can choose from. You will need to use a carbon transfer so that you can see the design you want to embroider on your pair of jeans. The embroidery floss you want will depend on the colors you are going to use. There are hundreds of great colors you can choose from and they are very affordable. Make sure you invest in good quality materials too so you will have an embroidery design that holds up well.
Most people place the embroidery work towards the bottom of the pair of jeans. It is up to you if you want to use this location or someplace else. You can place the design on only one side or both as it is up to you. Some pairs of embroidered jeans have the design on the thigh area or the pockets. You can copy what you see in the stores or you can come up with your own original ideas.
Since trends come and go there is no way to know how long the look of embroidered jeans will be in. Keep this in mind when you are working on the projects as you may not want to do all of your pairs of jeans this way. Yet it can be a fun project for both teenagers and adults.
